Yaroslava Krivokon was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000. She now resides in Palo Alto with her family.

After moving to the United States, she started taking art classes from Ukrainian artist Pavel Tayber. She studied with him for almost 10 years and received the foundation to develop her own style.

Yaroslava received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley, and a Master of Architecture  from California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
